Welcome to the South Tyrol Museum of Folk Traditions!

The Stately Residence Mair am Hof

The exhibition rooms on the ground floor are accessible to visitors using a wheel chair or having impaired mobility. Unfortunately there is no lift service provided to the upper floors, since the 300 years old building is under historical monument protection.

Our staff will offer their best possible help and support at any time.

The Open-Air Site

The open air site, as well as the farm buildings ground floors, are accessible to visitors using a wheel chair. Unfortunately there is no lift service provided to the upper floors.

Access for People with Disabilities

Parking:

In the parking area in front of the Museum there are a few places reserved for people with disabilities.

Toilets:

The Mair am Hof toilet block is wheelchair accessible; the block by the Museum's entrance is accessible also by lift.

Restaurant:

The restaurant's ground floor has level access.

Folklore Museum

The Museum is opened until 31 october. It's closed during the winter. Reopening on the 1st April 2013.

Hunting and Fishing Museum

The Museum is closed during the winter. Reopening on the 1st April 2013.

Wine Museum

The Museum is closed during the winter. Reopening on the 24st March 2013.
